Completion and Workover Rigs

Mitchell Drilling has added the only NEW workover
rigs in the Illinois Basin since the early 1980’s.
We now have 7 spudders;
the newest service fleet in the Basin.

Our roots are in contract drilling, but over 30 years ago, we recognized the need for servicing wells: pulling and resetting liners, cleaning, fracing, acidizing, deepening, plugging back, and squeeze cementing.  A well that is not producing to its full potential may need to be serviced, and with seven, full-time workover rigs, Mitchell Drilling stands ready with service crews who are experienced in rebuilding and repairing the original completion to restore production.
